Here is a small list of plants that grow well in the foot hills of North Carolina. Here are a few plants to help inspire your new landscape.
Eastern Red Bud - Cercis canadensis
In the early Spring pink pea shaped buds begin to appear. Followed by small gorgeous pink flowers.
Stellar Magnolia- Magnolia stellata
Blooms in late Winter to early Spring
Kousa Dogwood - Cornus kousa
The Kousa Dogwood blooms in last week of April or the first of May
